How I Approach Life And How I Appear To Others
I’m a natural diplomat, reasonable, tolerant, fair, always willing to listen to varying viewpoints, and ready to see the other side of an issue. Even if I strongly disagree with someone, I will try to find points of similarity and agreement rather than emphasizing the differences. I often avoid taking an extreme or one-sided stance on anything. I have a strong desire for harmonious and pleasant relationships, and express a spirit of cooperation, compromise, friendship, and fairness. I very much wanted to be liked when I was growing up and because of my need for approval and acceptance, I was easily influenced by others’ opinions, when I was young. I so much wanted to please that I often suppressed my own intense or unpleasant feelings in order not to offend others. Sometimes my politeness is interpreted as phoniness or wishy-washiness.
The Inner Me: My Real Motivation
Harmony and balance are my keynotes. I instinctively understand the need to accommodate other peoples’ interests and desires, and I am always fair and willing to meet the other person half way. Tactful, diplomatic, and with considerable social awareness, I do all I can to avoid conflict and discord. I express a spirit of cooperation and compromise and often achieve through charm and discretion what would have been impossible to achieve by a direct, forceful approach.
My Mental Interests and Abilities:
One of my greatest assets is my ability to see both sides of an issue, and to negotiate and bring about compromise and reconciliation. Tactful, reasonable, and with considerable social finesse, I work well with people in business as well as in personal relationships. I’m objective and somewhat detached from emotional bias. I insist upon fairness and seek to bring harmony or at least peaceful coexistence between people, and my diplomacy is a benefit in any business or social situation. I also have fine aesthetic sensitivities.
I cannot solve the global argument but I try to be the local olive branch
I seek to be heard and understood as an Ambassador for THE TRUTH
The truth does not require diplomatic immunity
Respect as always
